1929. 441 pages. No dust jacket. Green cloth boards with gilt lettering to spine. Contains black and white frontispiece, plates and fold out maps, all accounted for. Tanning and foxing to endpapers, title pages, text block and page edges with thumbing throughout. Further mild foxing to a few pages. Rough cut pages with fraying and tearing to edges, heaviest to pages 7 and 9. Cracks to guttering, pages remain mostly tight with frontispiece beginning to come loose. Boards have rub wear and marking with slight backward lean and sunning to spine. Bumping to corners and edges with crushing to spine ends. Some tearing to cloth at spine with gilt beginning to fade. Water marking to boards, heavier to spine and edges with creasing to front board and a few bleached spots.
