Prelim pages up to Preface are missing, so no title page or fly-leaves. Some stains and annotations before text pages. Text pages show faint fox marks and finger prints, but text is clearly legible.

142 pages. Good reading copy with clean pages. Pages are slightly tanned around the edges. Cracked hinge at page 94 and inside back and front covers. Front endpapers are coming away from spine. Inscription on front free endpaper. There are also some light blue chalk marks to front endpapers. Evidence of slight water damage to top of cloth cover, some fading and damp staining. Pictorial cloth cover has moderate edge and rub-wear to it.
